The Summit brings together global leaders in new energy industries, alongside key Vietnamese stakeholders including senior representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), EVN, and PVN, aiming to promote dialogue, policy development, and investment collaboration for Vietnam’s clean energy future.

Ho Chi Minh City, October 17, 2025 — During the Vietnam–Japan Hydrogen Workshop 2025, co-hosted by the Vietnam–ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), HUTECH University, and Suiso Japan Co., Ltd, a strategic signing ceremony took place between Suiso Japan and three key Vietnamese partners:

Ho Chi Minh City, October 17, 2025 — At the Vietnam–Japan Hydrogen Workshop 2025, Mr. Ōtsuki Taisei, Assistant to Executive Director of Suiso Japan Co., Ltd, delivered a detailed presentation on the company’s journey to bring hydrogen technology from industrial applications to the forefront of healthcare, wellness, and environmental sustainability.

Ms. Ho Thi Bich Phuong, representing UNP Healthcare, introduced a pioneering perspective that transcends traditional energy discourse — revealing how hydrogen, long celebrated as a clean industrial fuel, is now emerging as a biological molecule with profound therapeutic potential in metabolic health, disease prevention, and cellular rejuvenation.

Mr. Andy Lei concluded with a compelling vision: the convergence of clean energy and medical innovation. Hydrogen, once seen solely as an industrial fuel, is now being redefined as a biological fuel for human resilience.

Its potential extends beyond reducing emissions — it may help restore the biological systems those emissions have damaged. In essence, hydrogen could become both the medicine and the message of the 21st century: a molecule linking planetary health and human well-being.

“The Hydrogen Health Revolution has begun,” Mr. Lei concluded. “What started as an energy transition may very well become a health transformation.”

Dr. Nguyen Huu Luong emphasized that Vietnam is on the right track toward emission reduction and energy transition but must accelerate investment in hydrogen, CCUS, and renewable technologies, alongside stronger international cooperation to achieve its Net Zero 2050 goal.

His presentation received strong interest from both Vietnamese and Japanese delegates, fostering future collaboration on hydrogen development and carbon reduction technologies in Vietnam.

The Vietnam–Japan Hydrogen Workshop 2025, co-organized by the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), HUTECH University, and Suiso Japan Co., Ltd, was successfully held yesterday at HUTECH University in Ho Chi Minh City. The event brought together researchers, businesses, and representatives from both countries to discuss hydrogen innovation and cooperation.

On October 17, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), the Vietnam - Japan Workshop on Hydrogen 2025 took place with the theme "Application of hydrogen in healthcare with Japanese technology and Vietnamese partners", aiming to exchange academic knowledge, introduce new technologies and promote cooperation in the field of hydrogen in healthcare.

Ho Chi Minh City, September 26, 2025 – United Hydrogen (UH2) and Indel Petro have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance the development of a hydrogen production project chain in Gia Lai and Khanh Hoa provinces, contributing to the expansion of Vietnam’s clean energy ecosystem and the broader ASEAN hydrogen economy.

Ho Chi Minh City, September 26, 2025 – United Hydrogen (UH2) and Anh Tam Law Office officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a strategic partnership in legal consultancy for hydrogen projects in Vietnam.

HO CHI MINH CITY – Against the backdrop of a world rapidly accelerating its energy transition, the “United Hydrogen – Bringing Hydrogen Into Industrialization in Vietnam and ASEAN” conference held on September 26, 2025, became a gathering place for the region’s hydrogen community. Policymakers, transportation–industrial–port operators, financial investors, and research institutes came together to discuss the pathway toward realizing a hydrogen economy.

As the global energy transition accelerates, pressure is mounting on nations to reduce carbon emissions and pivot towards low-carbon economies. The Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM), funded by the Government of Japan, aims to accelerate the dissemination of CO₂ reduction technologies such as green hydrogen, renewable energy, and storage solutions.
