WORKSHOP JANUARY 2026: Hydrogen Supporting Zero-Emission Jewellery Production in Vietnam
Vietnam has committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. To realise this goal, the jewellery industry can play a pioneering role by adopting clean-energy technologies, improving production efficiency, and enhancing supply-chain transparency. Globally, leading jewellery brands are shifting to renewable energy, recycled materials, and low-emission standards. Across ASEAN, the trend toward emission reduction in jewellery manufacturing is accelerating. Vietnam has an opportunity to lead this transition by applying hydrogen — particularly H₂ welding technology — to help reduce direct emissions at workshops, enhance product value, and meet international market requirements.
