On July 11, 2026, the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) will participate and partner with UNP Healthcare Vietnam at Nakama Day 2026, themed "Next Together – Walking Together Today, Shaping the Future". The event takes place at Apollo 2 Hall – Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, from 09:00 to 14:00.

July 2026 marks a month of intensive and diverse activities for the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), with a chronological sequence of events from early to late July, reaffirming its role in connecting and leading the hydrogen ecosystem in the region.

As the artificial intelligence race reshapes the global energy landscape, data centers – the core infrastructure of the digital economy – are increasingly thirsty for electricity. At the seminar "AI ⇄ Hydrogen: Two-Way Acceleration for the Energy and Intelligence Era" held on June 30 in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh – Chairman of the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), Executive President of Pacific Group – presented a key thesis: Hydrogen is not just a fuel of the future, but an energy solution of today for data centers in Vietnam and ASEAN. And Vietnam has clearly quantifiable advantages to lead in this field.

On June 30, 2026, at the Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) hosted its annual Hydrogen Specialized Seminar under the theme "AI ⇄ Hydrogen: Two-Way Acceleration for the Energy and Intelligence Era". The event brought together leading experts from Vietnam, ASEAN, and internationally to discuss the symbiotic relationship between artificial intelligence and hydrogen energy – two fields considered key drivers of the global energy transition.

On August 20, 2026, at The Grand Eastin Saigon Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City), Phoenix Contact Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), will organize a seminar on "Hydrogen – Solutions for a Sustainable Energy Future". The event brings together leading experts in energy and automation to discuss the role of hydrogen in the global energy transition strategy, as well as advanced technological solutions from Phoenix Contact.

Guided by the ASEAN Centre for Energy and the Ministry of Energy (Thailand), and co-organized with leading institutions including the Council of Engineers (Thailand), Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), ASEE – ASEAN Smart Energy & Energy Storage Expo 2027 returns as Southeast Asia’s leading platform for smart energy and energy storage.

The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) is pleased to announce that it has officially become a Strategic Partner of the ASEAN Clean Energy Expo 2027 – ASEAN Smart Energy & Energy Storage Expo (ASEE 2027), the region's largest energy event to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 17–19 March 2027.

The “Hydrogen for a resilient world” Call‑to‑Action is a strategic document expressing the vision and commitment of leading global hydrogen CEOs. It correctly identifies urgent challenges (energy crises, geopolitical instability) and proposes three priority action areas for governments: (1) act now, (2) create demand, (3) boost infrastructure. However, from the perspective of implementation in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs), the document has several areas for improvement that need to be addressed, according to members of VAHC.

The Global Hydrogen Industry Association (GHIAA) is considering formally endorsing the CEO‑led “Hydrogen for a Resilient World” Call to Action issued by the Hydrogen Council. GHIAA Chair Frank Wolak and Vice Chair Jaehong Kim have already expressed support for this endorsement. Before making a final decision, the GHIAA Secretariat invites member organisations (including VAHC) to provide any comments or concerns.

Bangkok, Thailand – The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) has been officially recognised as an Association Partner of Gastech Bangkok 2026 – one of the world’s largest exhibitions and conferences for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, low‑carbon solutions, and artificial intelligence in the energy sector.
