Since 2017, Vietnam has become a country with the level of renewable energy development, clean energy in the top 3 of the Asia Pacific region. By November 2021, at the climate conference held in Glasgow UK, the Prime Minister of Vietnam has set a target of net zero emissions of Vietnam by 2050 and by December 2022, Vietnam and the Group 7 plus 2 countries (Norway and Denmark) have signed a grant of 15.5 billion USD from 9 developed countries to support Vietnam's clean energy transition.

After working as an ME engineer at Obayashi Corporation for 7 years, Mr. Nagata enrolled in the MBA program of the University of Washington in the United States in 2019-2020. After returning to Obayashi Japan, he engaged in business planning and personnel work at the head office. Since 2021, he has been involved in the development of a new business, green energy, as part of the research and development activities at the headquarters, while also designing the MEPt, estimating and managing the construction. built on site at a local subsidiary in Vietnam.
