Introduction
Vietnam has committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. To realize this goal, the jewelry industry can play a pioneering role by adopting clean energy technologies, improving production efficiency, and enhancing supply chain transparency. Globally, leading jewelry brands are shifting toward renewable energy, recycled materials, and low-emission standards. In ASEAN, the trend toward emission reduction in jewelry manufacturing is accelerating rapidly. Vietnam has an opportunity to take the lead in this transition by applying hydrogen solutions—particularly H₂ welding technology—to reduce direct emissions at workshops, increase product value, and meet the requirements of international markets.
