On January 8 and 9, 2024, VAHC Club representatives welcomed representatives from Babcock & Wilcox USA and Maeda Corp from Japan
At the meeting with B&W, Mr. J.Pavala Ayyanna, Deputy General Director, introduced the Group's technological and industrial activities on three main pillars: renewable energy, decarbonization and environment. B&W Group owns decarbonization boiler technologies, hydrogen technology without using electrolysis, and waste-to-energy technology. B&W Group has built a waste-to-energy project in Denmark according to the highest standards, the project location is only 2km from the Royal Palace. The Group is looking for projects and local partners to cooperate on biomass power projects, waste power, thermal power boilers, and emission reduction technology solutions for heavy industrial plants such as coal power, steelmaking, cement. The group has technology to capture and store carbon directly from the air. Representative of VAHC Club, Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh expressed his desire to cooperate in a pilot project to produce hydrogen and capture carbon directly from the air. B&W Group is a leading industrial and technology corporation in the United States, having participated in projects in many countries around the world.
Previously, VAHC Club had a working session with representatives from the Japanese Maeda Group. Maeda Group learns about the activities of the VAHC Club. Currently, Maeda Group and IHI Group receive funding from the Japanese Government to conduct a feasibility study on green hydrogen in Vietnam. Maeda Group is Japan's leading construction, real estate, and clean energy corporation. In Vietnam, the group has participated in the construction of terminal T2 at Tan Son Nhat international airport, the underground segment of the Ben Thanh Suoi Tien metro line and has participated in investing in the Wateria Suites luxury apartment complex in Thu Duc City.
