Welcome our new member, Mr. Truong Nhu Tung to join Technology Hub of VAHC Club.
Mr. Tung graduated with a degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. Currently, he is a consultant for the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI).

From 1980 - 1990: Worked at Kraftstoff Wesseling Refinery and Petrochemical Alliance in Germany (currently part of Shell Godorf Wesseling)
From 1990 - 2016: Represented Eni Germany Group for 3 joint venture factories in Germany and the Republic of Tscheck
From 2016 - February 2024: Senior Expert for Vietnam Petroleum Institute. Currently a freelancer
He involed and led some projects in Vietnam such as
- Hydrogen industry development in Vietnam towards Power to X,
- Technology solutions and processing plans for petrochemical products, crude oil storage and gasoline products towards 2050 – Long Son area,
- Overall technological solutions for energy optimization of PVN’s petrochemical plants and application for Dung Quat refinery,
- Consulting on EV battery and charging stations, and influences of hydrogen development on PVOIL’s business,
- Master plan on national energy during 2021-2030, vision to 2050(oil and gas sector)
- Production of hydrogen from CO2-rich natural gas resources and emissions from power and fertilizer plants in Vietnam and other projects.
