Vietnam - Korea Green Energy Strategic Cooperation 2026: VAHC and EVEDI Agree on Key Collaboration Areas

Within the framework of the Vietnam-Korea Energy Week 2026, the VAHC (ASEAN - Vietnam Hydrogen Club) held a strategic working session with the new Director of the Korea Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute (EVEDI) and representatives from KEPCO.
Both sides agreed on four major cooperation priorities:

Official extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in September 2026.

Organising a series of bilateral workshops on energy transition.

Developing an integrated hydrogen demonstration project combining Vietnamese and Korean technologies.

Exchanging high-quality human resources in the hydrogen sector with Jeollanamdo Province (South Korea).
This event marks a significant step forward in energy cooperation between the two countries, opening opportunities to promote hydrogen projects and technology transfer, while strengthening workforce training for the green energy transition in Vietnam.
