The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club has announced plans to collaborate with World Hydrogen and Central Mental Hospital No. 2 to develop a basic-level scientific research proposal for 2026, focusing on potential hydrogen applications in healthcare environments.

Under the proposed initiative, the participating organizations will jointly establish the research framework, define scientific objectives, and design methodologies for studying hydrogen-related technologies in medical settings. The study is expected to explore potential roles of hydrogen in therapeutic support, hospital environmental improvement, and biomedical technology applications.

The collaboration represents an interdisciplinary approach combining expertise from hydrogen technology networks, international research communities, and medical institutions.

In recent years, hydrogen has attracted increasing attention not only as a clean energy carrier but also as a subject of biomedical research, including studies on antioxidant effects, health improvement, and therapeutic applications.

Central Mental Hospital No.2 will serve as the medical partner, contributing professional expertise in healthcare, participating in the development of research content, and supporting scientific evaluation in a real hospital environment.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club will facilitate connections with hydrogen experts and technology partners, while also promoting international cooperation through its global hydrogen network. World Hydrogen is expected to contribute knowledge sharing, global technology insights, and international experience related to hydrogen applications. World Hydrogen shall provide equipment for praticing.

Experts believe that if successfully implemented, the research initiative could open new pathways for hydrogen-related medical applications in Vietnam while strengthening interdisciplinary research, innovation, and international collaboration in clean technology and healthcare.
