Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) seeks members & partners’ input on GHIAA’s potential endorsement of “Hydrogen for a Resilient World”

Dear VAHC members and partners,
The Global Hydrogen Industry Association (GHIAA) is considering formally endorsing the CEO‑led “Hydrogen for a Resilient World” Call to Action issued by the Hydrogen Council.
GHIAA Chair Frank Wolak and Vice Chair Jaehong Kim have already expressed support for this endorsement.
Before making a final decision, the GHIAA Secretariat invites member organisations (including VAHC) to provide any comments or concerns.
Deadline for input: June 16, 2026.

Key message: Inaction is not an option. Just two months of the Middle East crisis cost European and Asian importing countries over USD 100 billion.

Calls on governments to maintain ETS and CBAM integrity, adjust renewable hydrogen rules, and accelerate lead markets for clean industrial products.
Expected timeline

By June 16, 2026: VAHC consolidates input from members and partners.

June 16, 2026: VAHC submits formal feedback to GHIAA.

After that: GHIAA will announce its decision on formal endorsement.
