Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club Officially Becomes a Member of the Global Hydrogen Industrial Association Alliance (GHIAA)
Ho Chi Minh City, December 20, 2025 — The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) is pleased to announce that, as of December 5, 2025, VAHC has officially become a member of the Global Hydrogen Industrial Association Alliance (GHIAA) at the 8th GHIAA General Assembly, held in the Republic of Korea.
GHIAA is an international cooperative alliance bringing together leading hydrogen associations worldwide. It was established to promote the development of the global hydrogen economy through public–private collaboration, knowledge sharing, business matchmaking, and policy support. By 2025, GHIAA has built a network of more than 30 hydrogen associations from nearly 30 countries and territories, representing key regions across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa.
VAHC’s accession to GHIAA marks a significant milestone in the international integration of the Vietnam and ASEAN hydrogen community. It underscores Vietnam’s increasingly visible role in the global low-carbon hydrogen value chain. Through GHIAA membership, VAHC and its members will gain enhanced access to international policy dialogues, strategic partnerships, investment and technology cooperation opportunities, and the exchange of best practices in hydrogen market development.
During the 8th GHIAA General Assembly, the Alliance also admitted several new members from emerging hydrogen regions, reflecting the growing momentum of multilateral cooperation to accelerate the global clean energy transition.
The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club reaffirms its commitment to working closely with GHIAA and fellow member associations to advance green hydrogen and low-emission hydrogen, support Vietnamese and ASEAN enterprises in integrating into international supply chains, and contribute actively to sustainable energy transition and global carbon neutrality goals.
