Vietnam and Korea Strengthen Hydrogen Cooperation at Bilateral Workshop in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment (HCMUNRE), and the Korea Hydrogen Fuel Cell Industry Association (KHFCIA) will co-host the Vietnam – Korea Hydrogen Workshop 2025 on July 16, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. This high-level event aims to promote bilateral cooperation in hydrogen policies, technologies, and project development, contributing to the global clean energy transition.
Event Highlights
Policy & Partnership:
Presentations on Vietnam’s hydrogen strategy and Korea’s pioneering hydrogen policies and pilot projects.
Technology & Innovation:
Case studies on hydrogen applications in Vietnam’s industry and transportation sectors, along with the latest fuel cell technology updates from Korea.
MoU Signing Ceremony:
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between HCMUNRE and VAHC will be signed to facilitate demonstration projects, joint research, and community-based hydrogen training across Vietnam and ASEAN.
VAHC–KHFCIA MoU:
VAHC and KHFCIA will sign an MoU to launch joint initiatives, followed by a discussion session on future collaboration.
Networking Opportunities:
Attendees will include representatives from government agencies, enterprises, and research institutions from both countries.
