VCCI Invites VAHC to Contribute to Special Publication Marking 75 Years of Vietnam–China Relations
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (1950–2025), the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Enterprise Forum Magazine, in collaboration with the Vietnam–China Business Council (VCBC), are publishing a special issue of “FDI Flows” with the theme “75 Years of Vietnam–China Relations: Towards a Sustainable Global Supply Chain.”
The publication, to be released in September 2025, will be bilingual (English–Chinese with a Vietnamese summary), comprising 120 pages and 5,000 copies per issue. Designed to international standards with both print and digital formats, “FDI Flows” will include QR codes linking directly to digital profiles of provinces, industrial zones, enterprises, and flagship projects. The magazine will be featured at investment promotion events, international forums, trade offices, investment promotion agencies, and across the FDI business network. It will also be presented in China and distributed at a series of Vietnam–China events in 2025–2026.
At a time when the global economy is undergoing deep restructuring and FDI competition is increasingly fierce—driven by sustainability, transparency, connectivity, and long-term vision—this publication will not only help localities and businesses deliver development messages professionally in international languages but also reaffirm their position in regional supply chains, expand cooperation, and reach strategic investors.
Within this special issue, the Editorial Board of Enterprise Forum Magazine has cordially invited Mr. Andy Lei (Lei Hua), Vice Chairman in charge of the China market at VAHC, to participate in an in-depth interview on one of the following topics:
-
Green FDI and prospects for Vietnam–China cooperation; or
-
Hydrogen & LNG cooperation between Vietnam and China in the energy transition process.
Alternatively, Mr. Lei may also prepare and submit a written contribution on one of the above topics.
To guide the discussion, several suggested questions have been outlined:
-
How do you assess Vietnam’s strategic role in attracting green FDI from China and East Asia in the context of sustainable supply chain restructuring? Can Vietnam become a key “hub” in the regional green supply chain?
-
As Hydrogen and LNG are considered energy bridges in the transition to Net Zero, what new cooperation models (in technology, finance, markets) could Vietnam and China establish to build a joint Hydrogen & LNG value chain that is regionally and globally competitive?
-
Many businesses are concerned about policy, infrastructure, and international standards when implementing green energy projects in Vietnam. Based on China’s experience, what solutions would you propose for Vietnam to attract green FDI more effectively while ensuring balanced benefits for both investors and the economy?
-
From a long-term perspective, how do you evaluate the potential for Vietnamese enterprises to join global supply chains in renewable energy, Hydrogen & LNG? What steps are necessary for Vietnamese and Chinese companies to not only strengthen bilateral cooperation but also expand jointly into third markets in the region and worldwide?
The deadline for submission is September 5, 2025, with responses accepted in written form or via online exchange (email/Zalo).
