VAHC Kicks Off a Dynamic Series of Activities in July 2026

July 2026 marks a month of intensive and diverse activities for the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), with a chronological sequence of events from early to late July, reaffirming its role in connecting and leading the hydrogen ecosystem in the region.

July 11: Presentation at Japan Health Hydrogen Workshop

Kicking off the series, on July 11, 2026, VAHC will attend and deliver a presentation at the Japan Health Hydrogen Workshop organized by UNP Healthcare in Ho Chi Minh City. The event focuses on hydrogen applications in healthcare and rehabilitation, with practical experience from Japan – a pioneer in hydrogen research for human health. This is one of VAHC's three development pillars for 2026, alongside energy and environment.

VAHC Club enters into a strategic partnership with the Korea Enterprise Energy Valley Development Institute (EVEDI) in 2024.

July 16: B2B Networking and Dialogue with Korean Companies

On July 16, 2026, VAHC will participate in a series of business networking events with Korean companies in Ho Chi Minh City.

Morning (10:00 – 12:00): VAHC will have direct meetings with 5 representative hydrogen and energy technology companies from Korea, including:

• VISIONTECH CORPORATION: Providing Fuel Cell solutions, smart lighting solutions, and energy solutions (solar/hydrogen/special lighting).

• HYUPHWA ELECTRIC: Specializing in energy infrastructure, industrial gas, and hydrogen/fuel cell solutions.

• UNICON GLOBAL CO., LTD: Manufacturer of industrial control valves, turbine by-pass systems, desuperheaters, and fluid control solutions for power plants and heavy industry.

• ENERTORK: Providing electric and pneumatic actuators for valves and dampers; industrial control solutions for power plants, oil and gas, water, nuclear, and harsh environments.

• SENTECH ENG CO., LTD: Manufacturing temperature sensors, pressure sensors, thermowells, signal cables, and industrial measurement accessories.

Afternoon (14:30 – 16:30): VAHC will attend the B2B networking program for 41 Korean power and energy companies, organized by leading Korean organizations including KEPCO, KOMPO, and KOSPO, taking place from 10:00 to 17:00 at Zone A2, SECC (799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My, Ho Chi Minh City).

Concurrently: VAHC will have a bilateral meeting with the Energy Valley Enterprise Development Institute of Korea, represented by Ms. Yuri Kim - Principal Manager, at Booth No. 293, Jeonnam Energy Joint Pavilion (SECC). The dialogue will focus on introducing energy companies from Jeollanam-do province and their key technologies; exchanging information on Vietnam's energy market; and discussing specific cooperation opportunities with Vietnamese companies, including joint ventures and business collaboration.

The program will see participation from VAHC Chairman Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh and Secretary Mr. Le Phuc An, offering free support services such as Business Matching, Korean-Vietnamese interpretation, and gifts to optimize trade opportunities. The event continues the positive cooperation between the two parties since the previous Energy Week in Vietnam.

July 29: Co-organizing the International H₂ Technology Solutions Workshop

Closing the month's activities, on July 29, 2026, VAHC will co-organize the annual International Workshop with the theme: "H₂ Technology Solutions in Vietnam's Sustainable Development Roadmap for Agriculture, Environment, and Carbon Market", in partnership with a prestigious university in Ho Chi Minh City. The workshop will run from 13:00 to 20:30 and is expected to attract representatives from diplomatic missions, international cooperation agencies, experts, and businesses from Vietnam, Europe, and Asia. Key discussion sessions include:

• Session 1 (14:00 – 15:40): Carbon policy and international cooperation mechanisms.

• Session 2 (16:00 – 17:20): H₂ technology solutions in agriculture, environment, and sustainable development.

The workshop is organized against the backdrop of Vietnam achieving two historic policy milestones: the pilot operation of the domestic carbon exchange (Decree 29/2026/ND-CP) and the recognition of green hydrogen as a national strategic technology product (Decision 21/2026/QD-TTg). The abstract submission deadline is July 15, 2026.

VAHC's Role and Strategy

The July 2026 activities are part of VAHC's strategic roadmap to promote international cooperation and develop a sustainable hydrogen market in Vietnam and ASEAN. VAHC aims to move from policy dialogue and technology introduction to the implementation of practical projects, with three priorities: strengthening ecosystem connectivity, promoting feasible pilot projects, and expanding hydrogen applications in key economic sectors.

In addition to this month's events, VAHC is also participating in other important activities such as Building a Sustainable Vietnam by the Singapore Sustainable Energy Association (moving online on July 20), and continues to be a strategic partner for regional energy events such as Gastech 2026 in Bangkok and ASEAN Clean Energy Expo 2027, Enlit Asia in Jarkata, Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Summit in Australia, Asian Downstream Summit in Singapore
