VAHC congratulates partner UNIHYS Co Ltd on receiving the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea Commendation

The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) extends warm congratulations to CEO Kim Yun-young and the entire team of UNIHYS Co Ltd on the occasion of the company receiving a Commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea at the Gas Safety Awards.
UNIHYS Co Ltd specializes in developing and supplying safety products for LNG fueling stations and vehicles, and has since expanded its technology applications to toxic gas handling in semiconductor manufacturing and hydrogen infrastructure. The company has successfully researched and developed valves for LNG fueling stations and vehicles, notably emergency breakaway valves and excess flow valves, which shut off gas flow in abnormal situations such as a vehicle driving away during refueling or pipeline damage, significantly enhancing safety during gas dispensing.
In the field of toxic gas valves for semiconductor manufacturing, UNIHYS conducts design-stage verification and improves sealing and shut-off performance. Fluid control technology accumulated from the LNG sector is applied to specialty gas equipment, helping raise gas safety levels in industrial complexes. In particular, UNIHYS shares safety standards and product application experience with countries in the early stages of hydrogen infrastructure deployment, including Vietnam.
UNIHYS Co Ltd is currently a strategic partner of the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club. The company has actively participated in forums and seminars organized by VAHC, including the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Human Resources Workshop, where its representative presented an in-depth analysis of the causes of hydrogen incidents in Korea and proposed a safety roadmap for Vietnam. UNIHYS also introduced safe hydrogen connection solutions, pioneering compliance with new KGS standards, with products that received the first KGS certification in Korea for hydrogen fueling hoses capable of withstanding many pressure cycles.
VAHC highly appreciates UNIHYS's contributions to enhancing gas safety levels in industrial complexes and in building hydrogen infrastructure, and believes that cooperation between the two sides will continue to bring practical value to the safe and sustainable development of the hydrogen industry in Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
