VAHC and Indel Petro Sign MoU to Promote Hydrogen, LNG Projects and Domestic Wind Supply Chain Development in Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, September 26, 2025 – The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) and Indel Petro have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly advance hydrogen, LNG, and wind turbine component manufacturing projects in Vietnam. The signing ceremony was held during the international workshop “United Hydrogen – Bringing Hydrogen into Industrialization of Vietnam and ASEAN.”

The MoU was signed by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tam, Vice Chairman of VAHC, and Dr. Pham Duc Vinh, Representative of Indel Petro.

Scope of Collaboration

Under the agreement, the two parties will:

  • Promote Hydrogen and LNG Projects: collaborate to connect investors, enterprises, and regulatory bodies to accelerate project implementation.

  • Develop Local Wind Component Manufacturing: build a domestic supply chain to strengthen Vietnam’s production capacity and reduce import dependency.

  • Train and Upskill Workforce: Indel Petro will invest in workforce training and technology transfer, while VAHC will serve as a bridge between members, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to create favorable conditions for projects.

Strengthening the Green Supply Chain

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tam, Vice President of VAHC, stated:

"This MoU confirms VAHC’s role in connecting stakeholders—from regulators and investors to the scientific community. Our goal is to turn project ideas into reality, making hydrogen and LNG key pillars in Vietnam’s emission reduction efforts."

Promoting a Sustainable Energy Future
The MoU is effective for five years, opening opportunities for long-term cooperation in green energy infrastructure development and supporting Vietnam in achieving its greenhouse gas reduction commitments.

Indel Petro is a multi-sector energy company that operates in traditional petroleum while pioneering renewable energy sources such as green hydrogen and LNG. The company currently manages retail fuel stations and invests in strategic projects including:
