VAHC and HCMUNRE – Strategic Partners – Co-organize International Workshop on H₂ Solutions for Agriculture, Environment, and Carbon Market

Continuing the successful series of 4 international hydrogen workshops held in 2025, the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), in strategic partnership with Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment (HCMUNRE), will co-organize its annual international workshop on: "H₂ Technology Solutions in Vietnam's Sustainable Development Roadmap for Agriculture, Environment, and Carbon Market."
The workshop "Advanced Solar Energy Systems and Hydrogen Production, Storage, and Application" on May 20, 2026, was co-organized by both parties.
The event will take place from 13:00 to 17:30 on July 29, 2026, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, 236B Le Van Sy Street, Ward 1, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The workshop is organized against the backdrop of key policies: the launch of the domestic carbon exchange (Decree 29/2026/NĐ-CP) and the recognition of green hydrogen as a national strategic technology (Decision 21/2026/QĐ-TTg). The workshop aims to propose an integration roadmap for hydrogen production, consumption, and the carbon market in Vietnam; update policies, share experiences, and explore H₂ technology solutions in agriculture, environment, and circular supply chains; and connect businesses, researchers, and international organizations.
Key presentation topics include:

Session 1 (14:00-15:40): Interrelation between hydrogen production and carbon credits – Opportunities; International support policies; Financial mechanisms; Directions for an integrated roadmap.

Session 2 (16:00-17:20): Hydrogen applications in sustainable agriculture; Clean fuel technologies in emissions reduction; Solutions in circular agriculture supply chains and post-harvest preservation.
