UNIHYS is a specialized manufacturer of connection solutions for the hydrogen, LNG, and high-pressure industrial gas industries. Established on July 1, 2024, in Busan, South Korea, the company has rapidly established its position with KGS (Korea Gas Safety Corporation)-certified products and international collaborations.

 

 

Core Products and Applications

  • Hydrogen Tube Trailer Charging Hose Assembly: A strategic product for hydrogen refueling stations and shipping centers, meeting South Korea's and international safety standards.

  • LNG Vehicle & Dispenser Valves (7 types): Specialized valves for vehicles and LNG stations, operating at cryogenic temperatures of -162°C and working pressure of 2MPa.

  • LPG Breakaway: Safety device for LPG stations, certified by KGS.

By August 2026, UNIHYS has built an extensive IP portfolio, including one registered patent, two PCT applications, two Korean patent applications, and multiple design/trademark registrations. Notably, the company holds the first KGS certification in South Korea for a hydrogen charging hose assembly, capable of withstanding 10,000 pressure cycles.

 

 

Meeting the Revised KGS Standards (2026)

From January 1, 2027, new KGS regulations mandate that all high-pressure hoses used for hydrogen at ≤20MPa must be performance-certified. UNIHYS is one of the leading suppliers meeting this new standard with superior features:

 

  • Superior Durability: Hydrogen-specific hoses (20MPa) with a service life of 100-180 connection cycles (compared to 3-30 cycles for conventional products).

  • High-Grade Materials: High-strength brass nuts replacing conventional brass.

  • Specialized Safety Features: Excess flow valves, safety wires preventing hose separation, anti-kink springs, and protective nut caps.

  • Non-Sparking Connection Tools: Designed to reduce operator fatigue and extend HYS-Seal life.

  • Quality Control: Each product undergoes a 25MPa leak test before shipment.

 

Global Activities and Direction

UNIHYS has organized seminars in Vietnam under the VAHC network, with participation from partners in Germany, Japan, the US, and Australia. The company aims to become a trusted technology partner for the hydrogen market in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
