On the morning of April 20, 2023, Ms. Wong Chia Chiann - Consul General of Malaysia had a meeting and exchange at the Voice of Ho Chi Minh City (VOH). Also attending here were Ms. Phan Thi Hong Xuan - President of the Vietnam - Southeast Asia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City (VAFA), VAFA members and Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh - President of the Vietnam Club. South ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) and members of VAHC attended.
At the meeting, Ms. Wong Chia Chiann shared her wish to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Malaysia not only in the field of diplomacy but also in economy, politics, education and culture.
And after learning that VOH had a visit to the Astro Arena in Malaysia, Ms. Wong Chia Chiann expressed that for the purpose of bilateral friendship exchange, she hoped that VOH would continue to exchange at the airport. Malaysia and vice versa will also come to exchange in Vietnam.
Also on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of friendship between Vietnam and Malaysia, the Consul General has launched a plan to organize a series of 10-day Exhibition Fair events lasting from June 9 to 18, 2023 under the name Malaysia Madani . There will be 36 Malaysian businesses to promote trade as well as exchange and promote culture, education and tourism.
Mr. Le Cong Dong - Director of Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio (VOH) also shared that VOH pays special attention to this series of 50 years of relations between Vietnam and Malaysia, so the radio station will definitely work together to follow track and report on this series of events.
Following the meeting was a visit to the VOH museum, the museum of ethnic musical instruments, the Music One Theater and the studio system at the Voice of the People's Radio of Ho Chi Minh City.
During that time, Ms. Wong Chia Chiann also had the experience of participating in live exchanges on the Urban Transport Channel (FM 95.6Mhz) and sharing with the audience about the upcoming activities of the Consul General. A special mark for this experience is that at the studio, the Consul General gave everyone a very warm song.
