Suiso Japan Signs Strategic Partnerships with Three Vietnamese Organizations to Advance Hydrogen Applications in Energy, Healthcare, and Green Tourism
Ho Chi Minh City, October 17, 2025 — During the Vietnam–Japan Hydrogen Workshop 2025, co-hosted by the Vietnam–ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), HUTECH University, and Suiso Japan Co., Ltd, a strategic signing ceremony took place between Suiso Japan and three key Vietnamese partners:
-
Vietnam–ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC)
-
HUTECH University
-
Ca Mau Eco – Forest Village
The event marked a significant milestone in Vietnam–Japan cooperation on hydrogen science and technology, paving the way for real-world hydrogen applications in clean energy, healthcare, agriculture, and sustainable tourism.
1. Suiso Japan – VAHC: Promoting Hydrogen Commercialization in Vietnam and ASEAN
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Suiso Japan and VAHC agreed to collaborate on market development, technology transfer, and regional outreach to accelerate hydrogen adoption in Vietnam and across the ASEAN region.
The two sides will jointly organize technical seminars, industry dialogues, and promotional activities to support the growth of the regional hydrogen ecosystem and the integration of Japanese hydrogen innovation into Southeast Asian markets.
2. Suiso Japan – HUTECH: Research and Education in Hydrogen Healthcare Technology
The partnership between Suiso Japan and HUTECH University focuses on research, academic exchange, and training in hydrogen-based healthcare applications.
Both sides will cooperate in clinical research, scientific workshops, and capacity building programs that explore the use of hydrogen inhalation and hydrogen-rich water in preventive medicine, rehabilitation, and wellness science.
This collaboration aims to establish a foundation for Hydrogen Healthcare Studies within Vietnam’s academic and medical innovation ecosystem.
3. Suiso Japan – Ca Mau Eco: Developing the “Hydrogen Wellness & Green Tourism” Model
The MoU with Ca Mau Eco – Forest Village sets forth plans to develop Vietnam’s first Hydrogen Wellness Pilot Project, featuring hydrogen spas, hydrogen water bars, and renewable-powered wellness resorts.
The two sides will also explore hydrogen applications in agriculture and community-based sustainability, with the vision of expanding into a network of five eco-resorts across the Mekong Delta, establishing a new model of low-carbon wellness tourism.
Strengthening Vietnam–Japan Cooperation in the Clean Energy Era
Representatives from Suiso Japan emphasized that these three MoUs form a foundation for deeper technology exchange, pilot investments, and the localization of hydrogen applications in Vietnam during the 2025–2030 period.
According to VAHC, this signing event marks the beginning of the Hydrogen Wellness Network in Southeast Asia, linking science, technology, health, and sustainable tourism under the shared vision of a green and resilient future.
Conclusion
The three agreements underscore Suiso Japan’s commitment to partnering with Vietnam in advancing hydrogen-based innovation — from energy systems to human well-being.
They also reflect a broader transformation in how hydrogen is perceived and applied:
“From the energy of the planet to the energy of life.”
