On August 20, 2026, at The Grand Eastin Saigon Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City), Phoenix Contact Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), will organize a seminar on "Hydrogen – Solutions for a Sustainable Energy Future". The event brings together leading experts in energy and automation to discuss the role of hydrogen in the global energy transition strategy, as well as advanced technological solutions from Phoenix Contact.

The seminar held by Phoenix Contact in 2024, HCMC, Grand Eastin Hotel
Seminar Program
The program will begin at 2:00 PM with registration and an opening ceremony featuring welcome speeches from the VAHC Chairman and a representative of Phoenix Contact. This will be followed by in-depth presentations.
The first session will provide an overview of Phoenix Contact Group – one of the world's leading corporations in connection technology and industrial automation – and its vision towards an "All Electric Society", where renewable energy is fully utilized. The presentation "Enabling the All Electric Society: Phoenix Contact's Role in Power-to-X Integration" will clarify Phoenix Contact's role in integrating Power-to-X technology – which converts renewable electricity into hydrogen, methane, or synthetic fuels – to accelerate decarbonization for industries and cities.
Subsequent sessions will focus on specific technical solutions such as Hydrogen Electrification & Power Conversion, and Smart Operation with Next Gen Automation. Highlights of the program include a presentation on the latest hydrogen market updates by Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh of Pacific Group Nippon Kei Form Japan, and an introduction to Vietnam's green hydrogen sector and current technologies by a guest speaker.
Networking and Social Activities
In addition to in-depth discussion sessions, the seminar also allocates time for networking activities, including breaks, a Happy Hour, and dinner, providing opportunities for delegates to exchange ideas and expand cooperation in the clean energy sector.
The event promises to offer a comprehensive view of hydrogen industry trends while showcasing advanced technological solutions from Phoenix Contact – a company awarded the Gold Medal by EcoVadis for its commitment to sustainability.
INTRODUCTION TO VIETNAM ASEAN HYDROGEN CLUB (VAHC)
The Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) is a private organization established to promote the development of the hydrogen industry in Vietnam and the ASEAN region. VAHC creates an official platform for policymakers, scientists, researchers, project developers, financial investors, and climate finance organizations to form a hydrogen community in Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
The club was officially launched on March 17, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City. VAHC was founded and is led by Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh – Chairman of the Club, who has 30 years of experience in managing and developing large-scale projects in Vietnam.
VAHC's mission is to build a collaborative hydrogen ecosystem in ASEAN, promote technology transfer, connect stakeholders, and support the development of feasible hydrogen projects in Vietnam and the region. Through VAHC, government and non-government agencies, hydrogen energy advocates, technology providers, and investors can meet and transfer resources in terms of human resources, land funds, technology, finance, construction, supply, and hydrogen consumption at national and regional levels.
