Towards the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia, promoting effective cooperation in connecting localities, businesses and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinates with the Embassy Indonesia in Vietnam and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province plan to organize the Meet Indonesia Conference in 2024.
Specific information is as follows:
- Time: March 21-22, 2024.
- Location'. Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.
- Participants:
1. Vietnamese side: Leaders of a number of central departments, ministries and branches; leaders, representatives of departments, branches and businesses of localities in the North Central region - Central Coast and Central Highlands region; businesses, business associations and press agencies.
2. Indonesian side: Ministers, Ministry of Sea and Fisheries, Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (expected); Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam and representatives of the Embassy's departments and divisions; Indonesian organizations, agencies, corporations and businesses in Vietnam; localities and businesses from Indonesia.
- Projected program: Attached . The conference spent a lot of time on meeting and connecting activities between localities and businesses on both sides.
The conference focused on exchanging the situation and proposing measures to strengthen and expand cooperation between Vietnamese and Indonesian localities and businesses in potential and strong fields (high-tech agriculture, marine development). sustainable production, digital economy, tourism cooperation, renewable energy...). The conference is a space for businesses and business associations of the two countries to directly connect, exchange, and seek cooperation, investment and business opportunities.
