PECC2 hosts workshop and roadshow on green hydrogen production and solid-state hydrogen storage technologies
Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) organised a Workshop and Roadshow on “Green Hydrogen Production and MHX Solid-State Hydrogen Transportation and Storage Technologies” at the PECC2 Innovation Hub on 8 January 2026, in collaboration with SEDC Energy, Hydrexia, GF and KPT Group.
The event aimed to strengthen professional engagement, technical exchange and knowledge sharing in the green hydrogen sector. Discussions focused on the global and Vietnam green hydrogen market outlook, key technologies for green hydrogen production, and advanced solutions for solid-state hydrogen transportation and storage using metal hydrides (MHX).
A major highlight of the event was the first-ever live exhibition in Vietnam of Hydrexia’s MHX solid-state hydrogen storage container, demonstrating the technology’s advantages in safety, storage density and logistics cost efficiency. The technology has already proven its commercial viability through international solid hydrogen shipments by sea.
The workshop and roadshow provided a platform for experts, companies and stakeholders to exchange insights, explore cooperation opportunities and support the development and deployment of green hydrogen projects in Vietnam.
