OCTOBER 24, 2023: KANSAI MEET KANSAI 2023 IN HANOI CONFERENCE IN 2023

1. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, the Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Kansai Economic Federation, Japan Ehle Academy and a number of regional agencies and organizations. The Kansai region (Japan) co-hosts the 2023 Meet Kansai Conference. Specific information is as follows:

 

(i)  Time and place: Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 789 Tower, 147 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

(ii)  Participants: About 250-300 delegates, including:

 

- Japanese side: Representative of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam; leaders of Japanese organizations and associations in Vietnam such as JETRO, JCCI...; leaders of the Kansai Economic Federation, Ehle Academy and representatives of a number of agencies coordinated to organize; businesses in the Kansai region operating in the fields of education, human resources, construction, services...; universities, vocational schools, Japanese language training schools in the Kansai region; other Japanese enterprises are investing in Vietnam (no Japanese localities attended).

 

- The Vietnamese side'. Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; leaders and representatives of departments, businesses of a number of localities in the North; a number of universities and Japanese language training institutions in Hanoi; enterprises, business associations wish to connect with the Japanese side.

 

(iii)  Planned program: attached.

 

2. Kansai region is located in the center of Japan, including 10 provinces with 03 big cities: Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe. Kansai is the second largest economic, financial and scientific and technological center of Japan, has strengths in manufacturing and manufacturing industries, and is home to the headquarters of many famous Japanese corporations such as: Panasonic, Sharp, Sanyo, Kawasaki... The Kansai Meet Conference was held three times in Ho Chi Minh City (2017), Hanoi (2018) and Da Nang 

 

(2019). The conference is a connecting space for local governments, educational institutions, Vietnamese businesses and businesses, schools, and partners in the Kansai region to directly meet and discuss needs, potentials and interests. looking for investment and business cooperation opportunities.

 

3. Considering the practical significance of the event and on the basis of the need to connect with Japanese partners, the Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to cordially invite your Associations and businesses to attend the above Conference; prepare promotional materials, introduce potentials, strengths and priority areas, projects to attract investment, cooperation... {in Japanese or English) to send to you in advance and at the event. In addition, we would like to request you to share information about the Conference with other members and businesses who are interested.
