June 29: Awarding ceremony of the global design contest of the Goddess of Love Statue in Da Lat
Top 20 works of the Global Design Competition "The Statue of Love" was announced by the Organizing Committee on June 15, 2023. The best work that becomes the new wonder of Da Lat city will be announced at the awarding ceremony on June 29, 2023.
After nearly 3 months of launching, the contest has received a lot of attention from the design community around the world with nearly 1,000 works from many countries such as the US, Australia, Italy, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, etc. According to the Organizing Committee, this is an encouraging signal in promoting the image of the Valley of Love (Vallée d'Amour) in particular and Da Lat city in general, becoming a cultural destination. culture, attractive tourism, shoulder to shoulder with famous landscapes both domestically and internationally.
The Jury comes from many countries around the world
After many reviews and evaluations by the Jury Board consisting of professors, doctors, advisors, leading experts, association presidents, founders, business directors... from Japan , Hong Kong, Finland, United Kingdom, United States, Poland, Chile and Vietnam... Top 20 selected works honor the meaning and eternal beauty of love. Accordingly, the works will be exhibited at the Valley of Love tourist area in the period from June 22, 2023 to July 7, 2023, wishing to bring the beauty of art to a large number of tourists here.
According to Mr. Ho Tan Duong, Chairman of the VDAS Association - Representative of the Organizing Committee: “The quality and creativity of the works have far exceeded initial expectations. These works not only show beauty but also convey the message of love in a unique and profound way. We have decided to expand the list from the Top 10 works as announced at the Press Conference on March 7, 2023 to the Top 20 works for exhibition.”
