JETRO HCM's presentation at Solar & Storage Live Vietnam 2024 Exhibition and Conference
On July 10, 2024, at the Solar & Storage Live Vietnam 2024 Exhibition and Conference, Mr. Nobuyuki Matsumoto, Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organization in Ho Chi Minh City (JETRO HCM) gave an important presentation with the topic: Japanese approach to the Green Economy.
The author presented an important introduction to next generation energy including new generation wind power, new generation solar power (environmentally friendly thin film peroskite panels) and geothermal using new technology. The author also presents the FIP program (Feed-in Premium or Incentive Price System applied to electricity produced from renewable power sources) being applied in Japan and the mechanism for exploiting electricity storage during off-peak hours to sell during peak hours to optimize storage investment.
