INTRODUCTION OF H2 INJECTION TECH TO ENHANCE DIESEL COMBUSTION IN ROAD/RAIL/MARINE TRANSPORT: GREENTEK NHA TRANG VIETNAM
Greentek AUS
Headquartered in Sydney, Greentek Australia invented green hydrogen injection technology to enhance diesel combustion in road/rail/marine transport and industrial engines, saving fuel and reducing emissions. Certified by the Australian government (16 Oct 2020) based on test results from leading environmental agencies in Austria/Germany. Currently operational in Australia. Produces green hydrogen using renewable energy. Plans to install nationwide green hydrogen refueling stations.
Greentek AUS
Emission reduction system uses pure compressed hydrogen (99.9%) injected into the air intake via Greentek’s control mechanism. Fuel/emission data validated by Austria/Germany tests and customer feedback.
Technology Overview
Principle: Adding trace hydrogen to the fuel-air mixture in diesel engines to optimize combustion. Hydrogen is stored on-board and injected via a proprietary electronic system that responds to real-time engine parameters.
Installation Process
Components are housed in a safety box connected to the hydrogen tank. Tanks and emission data loggers are imported. Installed behind the cabin or in secure vehicle locations. Two pipes routed to the air intake: one for hydrogen injection, one for emission monitoring.

Re: Proposal of Greentek Nha Trang Vietnam Co., Ltd.
SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Independence - Freedom - Happiness
Hanoi, 3 December 2024
To: Greentek Nha Trang Vietnam Trading, Production, and Investment Co., Ltd.
(Address: 105 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Phuoc Dong, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province).
The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has received Document No. 15-10/2024 dated October 15, 2024, from Greentek Nha Trang Vietnam Trading, Production, and Investment Co., Ltd., regarding the installation of green hydrogen injection systems and components in diesel-fueled transport vehicles for fuel-saving purposes. After review, the MOT responds as follows:
-
Regarding the Company’s Proposal
"Requesting MOT leadership to consider granting circulation permits for installing green hydrogen injection systems in diesel transport vehicles to save 15%-25% fuel and reduce emissions (e.g., CO₂, carcinogenic fine dust)."Pursuant to Circular No. 12/2022/TT-BGTVT issued by the MOT Minister, which regulates the list of products and goods posing safety risks under state management (Group 2 Goods), the imported or domestically produced/assembled hydrogen injection equipment proposed in Document No. 15-10/2024 is not classified as a safety-risk product (Group 2 Goods) under the MOT’s state management purview.
If this equipment falls under another ministry/sector’s Group 2 Goods list, compliance with regulations issued by that ministry/sector is required.
If the hydrogen injection equipment is not classified under any Group 2 Goods list issued by other ministries/sectors, the importer/manufacturer shall comply with Point A, Clause 1, Article 5 of the Law on Product and Goods Quality:
"Group 1 products/goods shall have their quality managed based on standards declared by the manufacturer." -
Encouragement of New Technologies
The MOT encourages enterprises to research and apply new technologies and energy sources for road motor vehicles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in line with Prime Minister’s Decision No. 876/QD-TTg dated July 22, 2022, approving the Program for Green Energy Transition and Carbon/Methane Emission Reduction in the Transport Sector.
The MOT notifies the Company for acknowledgment and legal compliance./.
