On November 28, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tam, Vice President of HYDROGEN VIETNAM ASEAN Club, on behalf of the Club, attended the Workshop on CARBON CREDITS - THE KEY TO TRANSITION TO A WORLD OF NET ZERO EMISSIONS
Discussion program "Carbon Credits - The key to transitioning to a world with zero net emissions" organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Suntory PepsiCo Viet Beverage Company Limited Nam organized.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Through the discussion, specialized units of ministries and branches will provide information on environmental protection, climate change response and the process of researching and developing regulations on carbon credits, especially is to determine the vision for developing the Carbon Credit market in Vietnam.
Organizations and businesses contributed opinions and initiatives on environmental protection, especially plans to build a carbon credit market. The activity also opens an important premise in connecting organizations and businesses across the country to join hands in restoring and greening thousands of forests in Vietnam.
