GBM Network 2026: Bridging Vegan Food and Clean Energy
October 25, 2026 — Annie Nguyễn
On 4 November 2026, Green Business Matching Day Vietnam (GBM Network) will open its first edition in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together more than 100 businesses, 35 B2B matching tables and representatives from over 15 countries, with a focus on plant-based food, plant-based protein alternatives and renewable energy and clean tech. The event is jointly hosted by GBM Network with Canopus, INCHAM, HIT Group, HORECA Business School, FnB Director and Chay Vietnam.

A notable feature of this edition is the simultaneous presence of two seemingly separate sectors: plant-based food and renewable energy and clean tech. While vegan food businesses seek ingredients, formulations and export markets, clean energy providers are looking for real-world offtake applications. GBM Network creates the space for these two sides to meet—not only at the 10-minute B2B matching tables, but also in the trade and investment panel and the Zoom session with more than 40 global corporate groups.
According to the organisers, a representative of the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) is expected to give a presentation at the event on hydrogen applications in vegan food production. The presentation will focus on hydrogen’s potential as a clean energy solution for food processing stages, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the food and energy sectors in building a sustainable value chain.
With speakers including Dr. C.K. Ashok Kumar (First World Community), Mohan Ramesh Anand (Canopus Group) and Dr. R. Padayal Sivakumar, alongside representatives from markets including India, the USA, the UK, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore and Kuwait, GBM Network 2026 is not just a trade event, but a platform to reframe how the vegan food industry views energy—from an overlooked input cost to a strategic competitive advantage.
