On May 9, 2023, VAHC Club consisted of Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh, club president, Ms. Phuong Dung, Head of Communication Department, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tam, Head of Legal Department and members including Ban Thach Company, Gentari, Mr. BIDV Gia Dinh received and worked with IHI Group including Mr. Konosuke YOSHII, Chief Representative of Hanoi Office and in charge of Southeast Asia of IHI Corporation, Mr. Kajima Kenji, General Director of IHI Infrastructure Asia, Mr. Do Manh Tuan, IHI Power Malaysia, Mr. Enai Yoshiki, IHI Singapore Ltd, and Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Tam, assistant to IHI Corporation.
The VAHC Club introduced the club's criteria, mission and activities to create a formal playground for policy makers, scientists, researchers, project developers, and investors. finance, climate change sponsorship, technologists, contractors, media to form a highly innovative hydrogen community of Vietnam and ASEAN region, Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club belongs to Friendship Association Vietnam - Southeast Asia.
On behalf of IHI Corporation, Mr. Konosuke YOSHII introduced the activities of Japan's leading heavy industry group, which is currently developing strongly in the field of clean energy, namely ammonia. IHI Group has signed with large corporations of Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Malaysia on cooperation in investment, production and distribution of ammonia on a large scale. Mr. Yoshii explained that ammonia is a highly economical green fuel option over hydrogen because the liquefaction temperature of ammonia is minus 10 degrees while the liquefaction temperature of hydrogen is more than 253 degrees.
Green ammonia is a sustainable clean fuel that is being targeted for use as a fuel for large cargo ships, clean fuel conversion coal-fired power plants and other heavy industrial applications.
