On July 21, 2023 at GEM Center, Ho Chi Minh City Design Association VDAS, VMARK Annual Design Forum collaborated with Okamura Corporation to organize a conference on 'the future of workspace 2033': What will the office space look like in the next ten years? Attending the event were guests such as Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and leading experts such as Ms. MAKI HAGISAKA, Marketing Director of Okamura Corporation, Mr. YUSUKE YAMADA, office space strategist and editor-in-chief of WORK MILL OKAMURA magazine, Ms. Pham Nguyen, chief architect ARCHI DE-SO, etc.
In recent years, the impact of the pandemic has made workers pay more attention to their values, spiritual life and health. That is the premise for the strong development of sustainable, friendly and economical design trends in all fields today. It is also a stepping stone for the strong development of "Workplace", the most popular and modern type of office. According to statistics from Savills Vietnam, the workspace market in Vietnam will grow by more than 40% in 2020, with more than 140,000 square meters of new space being introduced to the market.
The conference “The Future of Workplace 2033” is part of a series of activities organized by VMARK DESIGN VOICE towards the VMARK DESIGN AWARD. Specialized topics on "How to work", "Designing workspaces" and "Interior trends" aim to share ideas and designs between the design community, and consumer-oriented businesses. This Conference program will discuss in depth our future workplace to improve “How to Work”, “Workspace Design” and “Interior Trends”.
The discussion was based on three main themes:
History of the workplace by current period
Ideas for the workplace in 2033
Discuss our future workplace trends.
Hydrogen Vietnam ASEAN Club is a companion and strategic partner of VMARK and VDAS for the series of design events and the annual VMARK design week and awards.
