Ca Mau Eco and Suiso Japan Forge Strategic Partnership to Pioneer Hydrogen Wellness Tourism in Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, October 17, 2025 — At the Vietnam–Japan Hydrogen Workshop 2025, held at HUTECH University and co-hosted by the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), HUTECH, and Suiso Japan Co., Ltd, a new avenue of hydrogen collaboration emerged — this time in the field of Hydrogen Wellness and Green Tourism.

Representing Cà Mau Eco, Ms. Ngo Huynh Trang introduced the project “Hydrogen Wellness – The Cultural and Green Health Destination of Vietnam”, highlighting Cà Mau Eco’s unique integration of cultural heritage, ecotourism, and clean technology.

Located in Vietnam’s southernmost province, Cà Mau Eco – Forest Village preserves the historical and cultural legacy of the revolutionary Ca Mau resistance while promoting eco-friendly tourism and sustainable community livelihoods. The site has hosted numerous national events, including the National Workshop on Don Ca Tai Tu and Forest Village Livelihoods (September 2025), and is recognized as an educational and cultural tourism destination.

During the workshop, Cà Mau Eco officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Suiso Japan Co., Ltd to jointly develop and implement a pilot Hydrogen Wellness project — featuring hydrogen spas, hydrogen water bars, and clean-energy-based health and relaxation programs.

This partnership aims to make Cà Mau Eco Vietnam’s upper class Hydrogen Wellness Hub, combining Japan’s advanced hydrogen water and spa technology with Vietnam’s rich natural and cultural assets. The model is designed not only to improve community health and wellness but also to demonstrate low-emission green tourism in line with Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 goals.

According to the agreement, the two sides will develop a practical pilot project at Cà Mau Eco and expand to five eco-resorts across the Mekong Delta and southern region, creating a hydrogen-powered wellness network that blends health innovation with sustainable tourism.

“From the southernmost tip of Vietnam, we wish to spread the spirit of green living, nature conservation, and sustainable health,” Ms. Trang stated. “We welcome international partners to join us in bringing hydrogen wellness to life — from Cà Mau to the world.”

This initiative marks a milestone in diversifying hydrogen applications in Vietnam, demonstrating how clean energy can extend beyond industry — into culture, lifestyle, and community well-being.
