Working session with the Institute for Research and Development of Circular Economy, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City
On March 29, 2023, the representative of Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh had a meeting and worked with Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan, Director of the Research Institute for Circular Economy Development, University of Science and Technology. Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan gave an overview of the history of establishment and operation of the Research Institute for Circular Economy Development, including activities to create linkages between ministries and localities. The Mekong Delta with Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast Provinces with Ho Chi Minh City and the Institute is currently building a circular economy model for Con Dao District, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan has and will participate in international circular economy forums in France and Finland and now, the Institute aims to implement the Circular Economy Forum in the Asia Pacific region, where implemented by Vietnam, in which the Central Economic Committee and the Central Theoretical Council are invited to chair.
On behalf of Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club, Mr. Le Ngoc Anh Minh proposed the two sides to cooperate strategically to promote the strengths of each side. At the same time, the two sides jointly organized a large-scale forum in the region with the participation of central leaders.
It is expected that the two sides will sign a strategic cooperation agreement in April 2023
